The official language of ICAT – Regeneration 2020 will be English.
For entry into Italy, an ID card is sufficient for citizens of Switzerland and EC Member Countries. A valid passport is required for citizens of other countries.
A VISA may be required for some countries; participants requiring an entry-VISA to Italy may request the assistance of the Organizing Secretariat.
For specific information, please contact the nearest Italian embassy at least nine weeks prior to your departure for Italy.
LETTER OF INVITATION
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to attend the Conference may write to the Organizing Secretariat. This invitation is intended to help potential delegates to obtain a VISA and will not imply any commitment on the part of the Organizer to provide any financial support.
The Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss or damage to private property of participants, students and accompanying persons, either during or indirectly arising from the ICAT – Regeneration 2020. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
In June the weather in Venice is usually hot and sunny; rain is infrequent. The temperature rises during the day to an average of 25-28° C.
The official currency in Italy is the Euro.
Major credit cards are accepted by hotels, shops and restaurants.
Participants are prohibited from smoking inside the Scuola.
